  • Patti and Joe,

THANK YOU for your work with us on Tuesday and Wednesday. The process that you led us through was exactly what we have been searching for. Brilliant.

I was so impressed by the facilitation and explanation skills you two used. As Jud will attest, beforehand I (being a huge pessimist) was 100% confident that we (Beta) would get bogged down in some internal debate and not complete the mission. But you got us through, and I can't thank you enough for the long hours, patience and just the willingness to call us out on our BS. We know that we can be a tough, opinionated, aggressive group to work with. Thanks for putting up with us.

Above all, I can't say how much I felt your "altruism" coming through. It is rare - very rare - that you feel a software partner or vendor is truly on your side. You guys put any doubt to rest. I sincerely hope that we get to work together. I would be honored to have your expertise impacting our organization.

    Thanks again,

    Kye

  • Thanks for all your help, Joe. You have been patient answering questions, explaining and then explaining again.

  • Dear Joe,

Thank you so much for your excellent training sessions. You have the patience of Job! And you have a great sense of humor. I think Rose and I were dreading the training, but you have made it very, very easy. Informative and even "fun" to learn. Please know how much we appreciate your help.

  • Kentucky Refugee Ministries

Kentucky Refugee Ministries, Inc. is the refugee resettlement office in the state of Kentucky for two national church-based programs: The Episcopal Migration Ministries and Church World Service. Kentucky Refugee Ministries is authorized by the U.S. Dept. of State to assist refugees who have been legally admitted to the United States, as victims of warfare or other forms of persecution because of their religious or political beliefs.

    The Challenge:
Non-Profit Partners was asked to help consolidate 5 fundraising/development departments that were utilizing 4 disparate databases including Access, Excel, Word & Act into a single database. By not being in a centralized database the director could never get a holistic view of the donor, the volunteer, the events, the campaign initiatives. Keeping in mind the budget was tight.

    The Solution:
Sage Fundraising 50 meet all their requirements to centralize the data. Also, with the number of staff required to work together and the varying degree of software skills, Sage FR 50 provided a logical and intuitive interface so that learning the application was easy.

    The Results:
With the Sage FR50 in place, the director is now able to see the whole picture on the invaluable supporters of the mission. The executive director is able to get timely information. Tasks such as letter merges and mailings based on certain unique data attributes now takes minutes not hours or days of questionable results. The departmental staff are more unified in their data collection and operate more focused on the importance of the donor, the volunteer and the event. KY Refugee Ministries gained time, operate more efficiently and with data accuracy and are increasing dollars, volunteerism and awareness of their mission in a time of economic uncertainty.

  • Council on Mental Retardation

Since 1952, The Council on Mental Retardation, a private non-profit association of families and friends of persons with mental retardation, has been advocating for persons with mental retardation in Jefferson County and Kentucky.  It is the mission of the Council on Mental Retardation to advocate for children and adults who have mental retardation  and the vision of the Council on Mental Retardation that all children and adults who have mental retardation be included, empowered and valued in the community.

    The Challenge:
Like many nonprofits their organically grown database in FileMaker Pro had become unwieldy and taken on many attributes of the managers over time. The capabilities and functionality of the database had not kept pace with the fundraising industry demands. Many of the staff were avoiding it because of the databases awkwardness. Any new database had to meet the needs of fundraising, volunteerism, advocacy and client information so that the team could operate within their departmental responsibilities yet maintain data privacy.

    The Solution:
    Sage Fundriasing 50.

    The Results:
Now all the staff are opertaing within Sage FR 50.
